Orientation Workshops Offered Online!

June 23, 2008

We’ve found that for many inspectors, driving to a workshop is not a feasible option, especially with the rising cost of gas. In order to overcome this obstacle, PB is now offering its Inspector Orientation Workshop online. These ‘webinars’ are easy to attend from the comfort of your home. Once registered, you’ll be sent an email containing a link to your workshop. On the day scheduled, simply open your e-mail, click on the link provided and it will immediately take you to the online workshop. From your home computer, you’ll be able to attend the workshop, and even interact with the presenter and other inspectors in the built-in chat room.

It’s easy, convenient - you do it from home on your own computer - and you receive credit for your attendance.

What do I need to participate?

  1. A high speed Internet connection.
  2. Computer speakers or headphones to hear the presenter.
  3. A strong desire to help others during a disaster.
When can I join?

There are several upcoming dates available in both June and July, so choose the one that works best for you. Attendance is limited, and spaces are filling up fast.
